SuperSealSystem™

SuperSealSytem™ (SSS) is a 3-part system specifically designed for TE SuperSeal 1.0 connectors. 

1. Solid contacts: Our solid contacts are produced in either gold or nickel plating and feature a patent-pending design for easy crimping without needing special tooling. Our contacts, nicknamed SSC, can be crimped with any tool that can crimp size 20 DTM/MIL contacts. They are a single contact system that covers 16-24 gauge wire. Available in early Q1 of 2023
   
   
   
2. Flexible Rubber Boots: Connector boots are essential to a wiring loom. They provide strain relief and weatherproofing while giving a professional aesthetic. Until now, the only options were costly and permanent Raychem heat-shrinkable boots. With the introduction of patent-pending SSB boots, there is a cost-effective and serviceable option that won't break the bank. Available in four variants, these will cover any installation variable faced.

3. Backshells: The last item in the SSS is our backshells, available in billet aluminum or thermoplastic. Backshells mount to the SuperSeal 1.0 connector housing and allow for fitment of either our SSB boots or Raychem boots. 
   • Billet backshells are primarily designed for heat-shrink boots but can also be used with our SSB boots.
   • Thermoplastic backshells were designed specifically for our SSB boots, but with proper attention to detail, it is possible to mount heat-shrinkable boots to these. Be careful not to melt the backshell.
