Shrink Boot Lip

Shrink Boot Lip: selecting this option will give you a lip on the plug side only to allow for installation of either heat shrink or a Raychem heat shrink boot. The receptacle side of the connector will not have a similar lip as the connector already has a nice area to allow for heat shrink installation.

Commonly used heat shrink tubing would be:

CPA-100: Glue lined 3:1 semi flexible
ATUM: Glue lined either 3:1 or 4:1 semi flexible
SCL: Glue lined rigid heat shrink

Shrink Boot Lip

Stamped Terminals: The stamped terminals are also known as the open barrel crimp type. This type of terminal is used by most all automotive OEM's. Stamped terminals are easier to crimp since you can use most any universal open barrel crimper to install terminal to the wire.

Notes:

7.5 amps max per contact, size 20 contact.

While it is possible to solder the size 8 and 4 contacts it is not recommended to do so.
