| Terminal type | Description |
|---|---|
| Solid | Solid contacts that use an 8-way indent crimp tool, also known as machined contacts |
| Stamped | Fold-over type contacts that can be crimped with generic crimp tools in addition to OEM tooling |

|---|---|
| Gold | Gold plated steel contacts offer improved performance over nickel in extreme conditions |
| Nickel | Nickel plated steel |
| Housing color | Description |
|---|---|
| Gray | Gray is the standard keyway orientation for DT, DTM, DTP |
| Black | Black is typically an alternate keyway and usually won't mate with gray connectors |
