This elastomer has a shrink ratio of 2:1 with a single wall. In the expanded state, it has a width of 12.7 mm. In the recovered state, the tubing has a width of 6.4 mm. The ideal way of using the tubing is to pass the cables through it and then heat it to the shrink temperature so that the wires to be protected can be tightly wrapped. The average temperature for the shrinking of this type of tubing is about 175 degrees Celsius.
